a new project

Hello all,

I have created a new website to share my short stories with the world. They are mostly about Russia and I already posted some on this blog. They will mainly be in French but if you guys ask me nicely I may translate some of them in english (or even russian but that will need some help from my better-half)
Anyway, visit: nouvelles de Russie and don't hesitate to comment.
I will try to update the site regurlarly, that will motivate me to write hopefully!!!
And, I'm going to Moscow in february so that'll inspire a lot of new stories (fingers crossed).

[A lot of questions today]

It started with that:

I admit it, i bought the CD... I didn't like it that much.
But then there was this:

So i took my CD out and listened to it again, until i liked it. And now i can't wait to go and see the musical live. Pretty lame, hey? Ah, whatever...

where is your skirt love?

I came across this video on VIPmedia and i couldn't help but share it too. First because Lady Gaga sounds pretty amazing live and second because of the weirdness of it all. From Lady herself looking like she forgot to put on half of her outfit to her dancers coming back from the future straight from the eighties and i'm not even talking about the dance routines!!!. Overall, it doesn't really matter ... because the girl can sing and she dances so cutely on the chorus that i can't stay mad at her (not that i was in the first place). Seriously, this is totally the way i dance on this song in my kitchen when i put it on!!!!!

My revamp is done and done. So that's what my blog will look like from now on... Pretty cute hey? Yeah, I know.

Emily speaks out

The Metric lead singer lets it all out in a video posted on the band's website. She talks about her moving to Buenos Aires, her writer's block and the upcoming Metric album. A sneak preview of a song called "Help I'm Alive" makes me want the album already.

Sounds f***ing good!

Metric is back... and currently on tour in Canada. Maybe soon in France, who knows?

Here is yet another video by wonderful band Serebro. I like a lot but the album has been delayed enough. Enough with the waiting!!! I can't take it anymore. Release it!

Kiley Dean news

Kiley is currently on tour ... with Madonna. She is a backup singer I think and she's blogging about it. Check out her newly re-designed website: http://www.kileydean.com/ .

I'm happy for her and hope she can release an album real soon because her "Simple Girl" album was amazing. I can't wait for some new music.

my next favorite russian band...

... is called Ranetki - myspace - (or Ranetki Girls as they call themselves for their international fans). It is a pop-rock girl band that achieved worldwide notoriety by being featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. A great achievement but will it help them to have an international career, only time will tell.
